In view of the legislative requirements surrounding Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) and the commitment of Pamodzi Industrials (PIND) to contribute to the legitimate and equitable growth of our national economy and its people,the group has undertaken to prepare a BBBEE scorecard in line with legislation and guidelines that are currently available.

Pamodzi Industrials is determined to ensure that the contributions to BBBEE are not merely “high-level” superficial interventions but legitimate and tangible interventions that change the lives of our staff, their families and their communities. In line with this, Pamodzi Industrials has been independantly verified by a SANAS-accredited BEE Verification Agency.

Individual assessments were conducted at our three operational divisions Walro Flex, Unique Engineering and RelyIntraCast. These divisions have been rated as pr the Department of Trade and Industry's Codes of Good Practice. Assessments involved the following:

1. Drawing of applicable data to be scored in all elements of the generic scorecard.
2. Verifying the information provided against relevant supporting documents to ensure validity for this process.
3. Preparation of a detailed scorecard per division.
