On 1 September 2006, Allied Production Industries (API), a privately owned company formed in 1999 with engineering and manufacturing interests, concluded an agreement with Pamodzi Investment Holdings (PIH), a well established black empowerment company resulting in the formation of Pamodzi Industrials, a black owned and controlled company.
Pamodzi Investment Holdings has been a successful black owned and controlled diversified investment holding company since 1997.
